The education of Nigerian people matters. GEM offers opportunities to pursue basic and higher education to talented individuals that may otherwise not be able to afford it. This is with a view to enabling people to change the course of their life to become self- sufficient and able to provide sustainably for their families and have an impact on their wider communities, setting and leading by example. Nigeria needs and deserves great leaders forged with the solemn mineral of honesty and decency.
The fund is managed by a board of trustees who distribute and monitor the progress of the grant recipients over many years.
